13 Reasons Why: Season 2 DATE ANNOUNCEMENT!

The tapes were just the beginning.

We've known that a Season 2 has been confirmed but we didn't know when, until now.

Netflix released a first look at the sophomore series of the hugely successful teen drama based on the book by Jay Asher.

Season 2 will debut on Netflix on May 18th and will pick up after the aftermath of Hannah Baker's suicide. Season one focused on the cassette tapes that Hannah (played by Katherine Langford) left behind piecing together why she chose to end her life. Thanks to Netflix's date announcement video we now know that the tapes were just the beginning.
