In a city that's growing nonstop, it seems that commutes are growing for people as well.
We here at MRL are super lucky because we don't have to deal with traffic. Our commute to work is at 4:00 am and our commute home from work is around lunchtime. That's not the case for everybody here in Charlotte though. As Charlotte continues to grow, so does the traffic and so do commute times.
Charlotte Agenda put out a list of the top five worst commutes in Charlotte...
- University City to Ballantyne in the afternoon
- Plaza Midwood to SouthPark in the morning
- South End to Matthews in the afternoon
- Uptown to Steele Creek in the afternoon
- Indian Land/Fort Mill, SC in the afternoon
We asked our radio family what their commute to school or work was like and you couldn't believe how far some people drive in the mornings!
