Things are always changing, even at weddings. This wedding season, the menu could look a little bit more modern, but we're not mad at it!
What are the top trends on the menu that you can expect this wedding season?
- Personal menu - couples have started personalizing wedding menus by choosing food that represents the journey of their relationship or cultural background.
- Raw bar - Cocktail hours are tricky, you don't want your guests getting full, but you also don't want your guests getting drunk...so something like a raw bar is perfect to combat those two issues
- Fun cocktails - for Summer weddings especially, bars just help weddings. They get guests talking and mingling
- Local brews! - going local isn't just cool, it can also reduce the carbon footprint of the wedding
- Small bites for desert - instead of huge slices of cake, couples are going with a variety of bite-sized sweets - that way guests can sample lots of things and come back for what they like!
- Coffee bar! - let's be real - weddings are exhausting, and sometimes as adults, you just need a little pick-me-up
