Lyft has paid over five-hundred million dollars in tips to their drivers and was looking for Lyft drivers who are trying to make their way in music. Lyft told them they needed to meet at a spot to be involved in a commercial.
What they really were doing was linking up with Demi to hook up the drivers with studio time and tickets to Demi's tour.
