When it comes to working in customer service, we’ve had our fair share of rude encounters.
Leave it to the crew to stir up another juicy topic. In today’s 60 Second Chit Chat, we called coffee shops in New York City and asked them to hold for us. This got us wanting to talk about different people’s experiences with mean customers. There’s no preparing for getting your feelings hurt but these callers were good sports and dealt with it. But what kind of person is mean for no reason? Our friends over on twitter overloaded us with stories of their mean customer experiences also. Take a listen and tell us what you think!
I work at a pharmacy and as you can see if wear a hijab (headscarf) for religious purposes and I’ve had a customer walk up to me, ask for my manager, and then proceed to ask my manager why she hired me..because she should know what “my” people do to this country..????????♀️

When I worked at Wal-Mart in the money center, I couldn't release someone's money to them and they called me every name in the book but before they left they actually threatened to wait at my car for me

@themrlshow I have been yelled at for IDing people NUMEROUS times! Once in a Casino for someone who looked really young. Another by a man who didn't even have his ID! Just to name a few. It happens to me literally once a week.
