Meckleburg county gained about 54 people a day
The fastest-growing county in the area was York county; it grew by 3.5%
3 of the fastest-growing counties in the Carolinas border the coast (Pender county, Brunswick county, and Horry County)
Cumberland County, N.C. lost the most people, which was nearly 1,000
