No Real Easter Bunnies This Year Please!

Some people get super festive and borderline extra for Easter...like pet bunnies kind of extra.

Here's the deal: bunnies are the third most abandoned pet, right behind cats and dogs, according to the Humane Society. Yes, they may be adorable and it may make you all giddy inside to watch your kid go crazy over getting a live, baby bunny rabbit for Easter but it's time to be realistic. Are you really going to keep a bunny for as long as it lives? It's not fair to any pet to love it for it's younger years and then abandon it due to being too much work or because they grow up.

It turns out, 80% of bunnies purchased as Easter presents are abandoned. It's important to know how to care for a real bunny before adding it to the family on Easter for the kiddos. We wouldn't want you to have to find a new home for cute little Easter bunny a month after you get him...or worse.
