The fact that the pop star was wearing what appeared to be a wedding band on his ring finger led many of his fans to believe he and fianceé Cherry Seaborn were already married.
But, Sheeran says he and Cherry have not tied the knot yet.
According to Access, during a recent interview Sheeran explained that the ring is a male version of an engagement ring.
As he explains it, he never really understood why men don't wear rings once engaged.
We have to admit, he has a good point.
So there you have it, the couple are happily engaged and are looking forward to their wedding day.
