Wendy Williams announced on Wednesday morning she is taking time away from her talk show to focus on her health.

The talk show host has been open in the past about her thyroid issues, which has caused her to have Graves’ disease, an autoimmune disease that affects the thyroid.

Wendy announced on her show Wednesday morning,

“My doctor has prescribed — are you ready? — as of today, three weeks of vacation,” she announced. “What? Who are you? I was pissed.”

The TV personality joked, “I’ll be back in two. I’m not an heiress — who is going to pay my bills? Are you serious? I’m just saying, I come from working class.”

Last week, Wendy had to cancel shows due to ‘flu-like’ symptoms.

On top of that, in October, Williams made the news when she fainted live on TV during her talk show’s Halloween episode.

We’re glad Wendy is taking the time to get better, and we wish her a speedy recovery!
