(Photo by David McNew/Getty Images)Have you ever experienced a passenger on a flight that just didn't stop talking, snored, took up too much space, farted or all of the above?
A new international poll of 1,500 travelers finds that 83% of travelers believe saying hello and smiling at the person next to you on a flight is totally acceptable and appropriate while 42% of U.S. travelers find it unacceptable to talk about personal stories with a seatmate. This was a great time for Roy to remind Maney of the time they took a flight to L.A. and after Maney pre-announced he didn't like to talk to people on flights...he chit-chatted his entire way to L.A.
Maney also shared a story about a flight to Dubai gone bad. A passenger was farting so much that a fight broke out. The plane was forced to land in Vienna and 4 people were thrown off of the plane. We decided to open up the lines and see if our listener friends had any crazy flight stories.
Now a video is going viral that could fall into the category of "annoying passengers." A woman traveling on Ural Airlines from Turkey to Russia spent about twenty minutes drying a pair of underwear using the air blowing from the vent. Another passenger happened to capture the bizarre scenario and posted the video on YouTube.
