Everybody deserves a second chance. Denver will now be giving that to 49 homeless Denver residents.

An estimated 5,000 people are currently experiencing homelessness in the Denver metro area. 49 may be a small number compared to 5,000 but St. John’s Cathedral and the St. Francis Center are starting the process of helping. The St. Francis Apartments at Cathedral Square in Denver is now open and provides 49 studio apartments solely for the homeless.

Each of the new studio apartments is about 500-square feet and will come completely furnished.

Who knows – maybe one of these will open up in Charlotte!
