Pet spending is expected to jump 27 percent this year for Valentine's Day
A survey out Wednesday predicted customer spending on pets to grow 8 percent. The large growth is in part because "Millennials are the largest generation of pet owners," NRF director Katherine Cullen reports.
They plan to shower their feline friends this Valentine's day. A whopping 751 million is expected to be spent on pets this year.
