A new survey says that most people are looking for a partner that has a good personality rather than looks being their first priority.
While a lot of us are overly concerned about how we look, it turns out that looks really aren't that important. A new Planet Fitness Valentine's Day poll finds that 92% of people say they prefer a partner with a good personality to one with a great body.
Overall, 81% of people say they are looking for a partner with a good personality, 76% want someone with a sense of humor, 73% want a positive attitude, and 62% want them to have an open mind.
When it comes to qualities people find most important in a significant other, they include:
- How supportive they are (80%)
- How happy they are (77%)
- That they love unconditionally (75%)
- Whether they encourage their partner to be their best self (70%)
People also chimed in about where they would like to meet their partner. A coffee shop being the most popular place for them to meet. Others wouldn't mind meeting them ar a party or even at work.
