Here's what residents should know!
Due to the MLK Holiday collection delay and the inclement weather, garbage and recycling collection service for this week may continue over the weekend and into next week. The City of Charlotte Solid Waste Service is asking residents for their patience and to set out garbage and recycling carts and leave them out until collected.
Solid Waste is working hard to collect all garbage and recyclables before Monday. To help, residents should keep in mind:
- Yard waste and bulky waste collection services are suspended this week
- Remove parked vehicles off the street. This reduces the risk of property damage and allows crews to collect safely.
- Remember this is a green recycling week
