Seth Meyers will be hosting this year and he’s promised not to go easy on Hollywood’s systemic problem with sexual predators.

Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s daughter, Simone Garcia Johnson, will be the Golden Globe Ambassador this year. Basically, she’ll be assisting stars off the stage after they win.

As for actors, Saoirse Ronan, James Franco and Laurie Metcalf are a few of the front-runners. The Shape of Water and Lady Bird are expected to be big winners, though there’s room for surprises in the top categories

Oprah will get a lifetime achievement award.

Lots of people people will be wearing black
