No matter who you are, the time will come when your man or woman want’s to hang out with a member of the opposite sex. There are plenty of people that say men and women can never just be friends, but I think it’s not always just that simple.
Here's some ways to make it work:
- Make sure there’s no double standard - If you can have friends of the opposite sex, so can he. Make sure you’re on the same page.
- Agree on appropriate boundaries - Let yourselves dictate how things can go on and what’s cool and what’s not about the way they hang out.
- Give and expect the benefit of the doubt - Make sure that the people you’re surrounding yourself with are people who will understand and trust you completely when you have friends of the opposite sex.
- Include one another in the friendship - It gets even weirder if you’re keeping your partner out of your friendships with members of the opposite sex.
The main issue when it comes to your man having female friends is trust. You have to know that you’re dealing with someone who wouldn’t actually do anything inappropriate with their pals!
