The laughing/crying emoji is more popular than the rest of them!
Using emojis to text is pretty addicting. I can’t tell you how many Venmo interactions I’ve had with people that were spelled out simply in emojis and no actual words. But what’s the emoji that we wouldn’t be able to live without? There must be emojis that we all use more than other emojis. The most used emoji might surprise you.
Apple released a Differential Privacy Overview, which contained stats about what the most used emojis were. Turns out the crying laughing emoji is most used by a landslide. It’s kind of nice, right? To think that the emotion we’re most often expressing is crying of laughter. The second most used emoji was the red heart. We could use some laughter and love circulating in our texts!
