A Psychic’s Prediction Comes True

A New Jersey man said a psychic card reader predicted his two lottery wins, as well as his recent wedding.

David Thompson of Chester told New Jersey Lottery officials he saw a local psychic card reader in October 2016 and received some good news for the future.

"I see a lot of money in your near future, and I see love coming in your near future as well," Thompson quoted the psychic as saying. He said the prediction came true in a Dec. 14 Jersey Cash 5 drawing, when he won a $160,000 jackpot.

Thompson said the second part of the prediction came true just two weeks later when he met a woman named Supreeya at a party. The two quickly hit it off and were married June 3. He said the psychic's prediction wasn't yet over, however, because on June 20 he entered another Jersey Cash 5 drawing with a ticket he bought the day after his nuptials and ended up winning $984,158.
