We aren't really sure if this is an actual concept, but it definitely has our attention.

There’s a new makeup trend that we’re not so sure about. Imagine putting on a foundation that you can just peel off at the end of the day? Well that’s what Real Skin Patch is here to accomplish. You put it on underneath your foundation, and it’s supposed to create a base so you don’t have to get your makeup all up in your pores. It certainly makes for interesting makeup videos online.

You can put it on your entire face, or over just a problem area that shouldn’t be clogged up with makeup that day. Once it dries, you put your foundation on top. But when “Metro” writer Ellen Scott tried the product, she was underwhelmed at best. Rubbing on the foundation over Real Skin Patch resulted in a patchy, sticky mess. Does it actually allow you to peel off your foundation at the end?

Tell us your thoughts @theMRLshow on this new concept? Is it worth it or is the old way the best way to have full coverage?
