Apparently there's specific words in dating profiles that have been proven to make the user more appealing, we have the answers!

A new survey said 2,800 singles from dating site Plenty of Fish reveals the words and phrases that you might want to add to your dating profile to boost your success rate. According to their info, potential love interests are 8% more likely to contact a woman who has the words “pumpkin spice” on her profile than those who don’t mention the seasonal flavor.

And according to data from eHarmony from 12,000 profiles on their site, these are the top five most attractive words women can use on their dating profiles to make a potential love interest more likely to respond:

  1. Ambitious (+48%)
  2. Perceptive (+46%)
  3. Sweet (+33%)
  4. Hard working (+32%)
  5. Thoughtful (+28%)

For the men, these are the words they might want to add to their profile to boost their appeal:

  1. Physically fit (+96% more interaction than daters who did not use this word)
  2. Perceptive (+51%)
  3. Spontaneous (+45%)
  4. Outgoing (+44%)
  5. Optimistic (+39%)
