Drake Suffers Devastating Loss

Drake took to social media to mourn the loss of a dear friend.

In an Instagram post, Drake let the world know his friend Anthony Soares has died. Soares also belonged to Drake's record label, OVO Sound.

According to CBC News in Toronto, Soares was gunned down by two men after entering the lobby of a building in the early hours of the morning on Thursday.

Police and medics were dispatched to the scene and transported Soares to a nearby hospital.

Sadly, he was later pronounced dead by doctors. He was 33 years old.

A motive in the case is still unclear.
