MTV had their 2017 Video Music Awards last night and just like everything, there were ups and there were downs. With Katy Perry hosting and a countless number of performances, we have put together our favorites just in case you decided to tune in to Game of Thrones season 7 finale instead.

Kendrick Lamar opens up the MTV VMAs and things get HOT.

Lorde also performs but at first everybody was confused because she didn’t actually sing. Lorde danced to her own song but never held a microphone. Come to find out, Lorde was already scheduled to perform at the VMAs and she ended up getting the flu, so instead of bailing she decided to switch things up to something she was able to do while sick. Lorde deserves a moon man just for this!

Everybody was excited for Fifth Harmony’s performance at last night’s VMAs. At the start of their performance they had five band members on top of a ledge.. welp, AND THEN THERE WERE FOUR.

Our girl Demi Lovato has had a busy weekend. From performing the national anthem at the Mayweather v. McGregor fight to performing her hit singleĀ Sorry Not Sorry for the MTV VMAs. Not only did she look flawless but she had just about everybody moving to this banger!

P!NK accepted the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award last night. She started off by performing a medley of some of her most loved hits and then delivered a powerful message of self empowerment. We love you P!nk!

Logic & Alessia Cara & Khalid performed their new song “1-800-273-8255,” which is the suicide hotline number. Not only will the performance itself give you chills but Logic delivered a powerful message after his performance that had the entire audience on their feet.

All in all, it was a great night for the music industry.. unless you’re Adam Levine.. then you’re not pleased with it.
