VALLEY CENTER, CA - MARCH 5: An avocado hangs from a tree at a farm in Pauma Valley on March 5, 2014 near Valley Center, California. The Chipotle restaurant chain 2013 annual report concludes that increasing weather volatility as well as weather pattern changes and global climate change could have a significant impact on the price or availability of some of their ingredients. As the costs of basics like avocados rise, Chipotle may reluctantly choose to temporarily drop some items from their menu such as guacamole and one or more salsas. Chipotle reportedly uses 97,000 pounds of avocados per day, about 35.4 million pounds per year. (Photo by David McNew/Getty Images)

Author E.A. Bucchianeri once said, “art is in the eye of the beholder”. When it comes to making crazy designs out of avocados, however, how could you go wrong?

According to an article from Cosmopolitan, avocado art is all the rage! Artists have recently been showcasing this unique art form on Reddit, carving intricate designs into store-bought avocados to create pure masterpieces. From making delicate patterns using small tools and a steady hand to segmenting tiny sections of the avocado’s peel to using mini-figurines in order to create a landscape, there don’t seem to be any limits on the possibilities of avocado art! To take it a step further, artists are even carving the pits inside of the avocados into figures that look like wood carvings. The main takeaway here is that if items like avocados can be turned into artwork, anything can!
